Our Guiding Principles

We seek to instill a tangible pride of our glorious past and build a responsible and culturally sensitive community through heritage travel.

Fixed Departures

Choice of place:

The choice of our location is generally offbeat but as fascinating as the more well known regions. This ensures a wider playing field for our tours. The lack of crowds ensures a leisurely viewing and spontaneous exchange of snippets from the participants opening up newer facets and greater appreciation of the location.

Cuisine:

We strive to present the authentic regional flavour made from the locally sourced ingredients to relish the time travel. Our research and extensive integration with the “ sons of the soil ” ensures that the not so popular and many a times the forgotten recipes are revived and the participants get and opportunity to savour and enjoy the same.

Activity:

We choose activities such as cookery classes, story reading, pottery making, sketching, singing etc. which help the group to gel as one happy family. Not only do these activities involve every participant but they also collectively result in effective everlasting networking and more importantly, friendship.

Transport and accommodation:

We believe that the experience of the locations visited should be devoid of physical strain and tediousness. Therefore we ensure the best possible air conditioned transport by all modes. Refreshments and snacks are always available on board.

The best available hotel, preferably heritage property is carefully chosen in order to heighten the joy of the tour. The itinerary is always crafted with sensitivity to provide ample free time to sit back and ruminate at the marvels as well as enjoy the property.

Avaiablity:

Our expert in the field along with the travel co-odrinator are always in the vicinity to ensure that both information about the sites as well as any and every concern regarding the arrangements are immediately addressed.

Thanjavur

Magical to many and a mystery to some, never has any other town inspired so much of art across centuries. Thanjavur, beyond all
its treasures, is renowned for the UNESCO World Heritage monument created by Raja Raja Chola. Considered to be one of the best
specimens of South Indian temple architecture, the Brihadeeshwara temple weaves stories of not only a glorious past but also the
economics behind one of our longest empires. Reflecting the remarkable and stupendous feat of consolidating various resources
from different regions into a singular piece of wonder, this structure still stands tall after several centuries. The influence of various
dynasties from the 9 th to 20 th century can be seen in the art, architecture, music, dance and cuisine of Thanjavur.

There is more to Thanjavur than just the “Periya Koil”(Big Temple). One of India’s best kept secrets is the Sarasvati Mahal Library
which houses books since the 17 th century on diverse topics such as cuisine to water divining, astrology and architecture. Thanjavur
has had a long tradition of its rulers from Karnataka and Maharashtra and England coming in, blending in and creating a culture
that is eclectic.

Rameshwaram and Danushkodi

Rameshwaram sits on the Pamban Island in the Gulf of Mannar at the Eastern tip of the
Indian Peninsula. Though Rameshwaram is associated predominantly with the epic
Ramayana, the main attraction here is the Shiva temple. It will astound you in size and
a true example of how as a country we are united North to South. The fabulous
architecture includes the magnificent 1,200 carved sandstone pillared hall and the ceiling
covered in colorful kamalam/lotus art.

When in 1964, a cyclone hit the flourishing trade town of Danushkodi wiped out most of
the town, the government declared it as a ghost town, unfit for habitation. All that's left
are the fragmented windswept remains of a few buildings such as a church, post office,
railway station and an unmatched view of the ocean.

Heritage

Rayalaseema

The originally “seeded Districts” (Datta Mandalu in Telugu), later became royal lands (Rayalaseema) to establish the glorious past and the rich culture of this  region dating back many centuries. This land has seen many dynasties emerge and vanish but bears their remembrances through striking architecture and cultural practices. It was during the reign of Krishnarayulu that telugu culture reached it’s zenith. Rayalaseema not only was the cradle for telugu literature but
also gave us Modern Philosophers like Jiddu Krishnamurthy who is a son of this soil.

Mystical Palmyra has packaged a unique experience for the very first time ever that woul doffer glimpses of History, Architecture, culture, religion and cuisine of these Royal Lands. Come and be the privileged guest to witness the splendor of the genius of these royal lineages
